As mobile communications including cellular phone and Personal Handyphone System (PHS) are showing rapid growth and becoming pervasive among users, spectrum management policy for development of the unused spectrum and effective use of the spectrum becomes critical issue. This project aims to develop underlay-overlay cell arrangement which is a new technology maxizing efficient use of the spectrum. The project aims at upgrading mobil communications through R&D efforts on this particular technologyPROJECT OBJECTIVES:
