BRIEF OVERALL PROJECT SUMMARY:

Verification of object-oriented communications technology that would accomplish communications link among various applications residing in systems with different OS and differing scales. The project also includes R&D efforts as well as verification tests that relates to congestion-avoidance technology essential to the ATM switching system that achieve high speed transmission between different networks. The project, as a whole, will aim at an implementation of system facilitating that will be instrumental in the construction of enhanced industrial infrastructure.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES:

The project, through R&D on object-oriented communications technology to realise collaboration on communications networks, is intended to make a contribution to the formulation of advanced information communications infrastructure that will serve enhancement in industrial and management infrastructure including information communications industry.

EXPECTED/ACTUAL RESULTS:

As penetration of the resulting technology increases, there will be a significant enhancement in industrial and management infrastructure relating to collaboration among corporations working in groups through accumulation and sharing of information etc.
