Launch of the “Reporting Framework” for the International Code of Conduct Under the G7 Italian Presidency, the G7 discussed the development of the mechanism (the “Reporting Framework”) for checking and reporting the status of the application of the International Code of Conduct by organizations developing advanced AI systems who voluntarily commit to it. Finalization of the “Reporting Framework” for the International Code of Conduct Under the G7 Italian Presidency, the G7 has been discussing the development of the mechanism (the “Reporting Framework”) for checking the status of compliance with the International Code of Conduct by organizations developing advanced AI systems who voluntarily commit to it. The G7 has concluded the discussions and finalized the “Reporting Framework”. It is planned to be operationalized as early as February in 2025. G7 Digital and Tech Ministerial Meeting The G7 Digital and Tech Ministerial Meeting was held on October 15, and the G7 Digital and Tech Ministers extend their gratitude to the companies and organisations that participated in the pilot of the Reporting Framework for the Hiroshima Process International Code of Conduct for Organizations Developing Advanced AI Systems and agreed to continue to work with the aim to advance the Reporting Framework by the end of the year.

G7 Apulia Summit The G7 Apulia Summit was held on June 13-15 and G7 Leaders welcomed Industry, Tech, and Digital Ministers' efforts to advance the Hiroshima AI Process outcomes, including the development of a reporting framework for monitoring the International Code of Conduct for Organizations Developing Advanced AI Systems.
