In order to disseminate and promote Broadband ISDN, this project conducts R&D on universal and fundamental technologies (such as extremely high resolution digital image transmission technology, remote retrieval and display technology of image database, etc.) necessary for the development of applications which utilize Broadband ISDN.
PROJECT OBJECTIVES:
This project contributes to the establishment of an electronic library by conducting R&D on the extremely high resolution digital image transmisison technology and image database remote retrieval / display technology.EXPECTED/ACTUAL RESULTS:
