Under normal circumstances, the Fire and Disaster Management Agency (FDMA) prevents or mitigates damage due to various disasters including fires, earthquakes, storms, and floods by ensuring maintenance of regulations and deployment of equipment in cooperation with fire defense headquarters nationwide and local public organizations.
