When using a community antenna of multifamily housing

You can receive terrestrial digital TV broadcasts if you own a UHF antenna and a DTV ready TV, or if you connect your current analog TV to a terrestrial digital tuner or a recording device with a built-in terrestrial digital tuner.

Antenna facilities
If your TV is not connected to a UHF antenna, you will have to install new facilities, or modify the facilities available. If the UHF antenna facilities you are currently using are not compatible with terrestrial digital TV broadcasts, or if the reception directions for terrestrial digital and current terrestrial analog TV broadcasts are different, then you may need to install additional antenna facilities.
*
Consult with the operator who installed or maintains the antenna facilities for details on how it should be modified.

Reception methods differ for viewers using cable TV and viewers using shared reception facilities (for example, in the case of interference from large structures in a given area).
Please refer to the appropriate sections ("When using cable without installing an antenna" or "When using community antenna reception facilities").
