Changes in Areas Subject to Deferral of Payments for Spectrum User Fees due to the Spread of Coronavirus Pandemic

With consideration for changes in areas where emergency measures are to be taken due to the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has decided to change the target areas for the deferral of payments for spectrum user fees and the payment grace period.

With consideration for changes in areas where emergency measures are to be taken due to the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has decided to change the target areas for the deferral of payments for spectrum user fees and the payment grace period. This deferral is based on the provisions of Article 32, Paragraph 1 of the Act on Special Measures for Pandemic Influenza and New Infectious Diseases Preparedness and Response.

The revised areas for radio station licensees that are subject to the deferral of payments for spectrum user fees (including exemption from overdue charges) and the payment grace period are shown in the table below.
