October 16, 2015 Appeal for Opinions on Draft Ministerial Ordinance for Partial Revision of Ministerial Ordinance Establishing Sender Information in Paragraph 1, Article 4 of the Act on the Limitation of Liability for Damages of Specified Telecommunications Service Providers and the Right to Demand Disclosure of Identification Information of the Senders

In 2002, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) enacted the Ministerial Ordinance Establishing Sender Information in Paragraph 1, Article 4 of the Act on the Limitation of Liability for Damages of Specified Telecommunications Service Providers and the Right to Demand Disclosure of Identification Information of the Senders (2002 MIC Ordinance No. 57). Recently, MIC drafted a revision of the Ministerial Ordinance with consideration of the recommendations of the ICT Service Safety and Security Study Group. In this connection, MIC has decided to make an appeal for opinions on the drafted revision from October 17 through November 16, 2015.
