November 13, 2015 Report of Council on Ideal State of Medical ICT for Cloud Age and Results of Appeal for Opinions

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications and the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare have finished a Report of the Council on Ideal State of Medical ICT for Cloud Age for the forthcoming era where the full-fledged utilization of cloud and other ICT technologies will be expected. This report is based on opinions of a wide range of stakeholders on the ideal state of personal health records (PHR) that will enable each individual to collect health, medical, and nursing care information efficiently and the ideal state of utilizing cutting-edge technologies, e.g., mobile and 8K technologies. Accordingly, MIC has decided to release the report along with the results of an appeal for opinions on the draft of the report that MIC opened to the public previously.
