December 18, 2015 Symposium for Level Improvements in L-alert Disaster Information Delivery

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) will co-organize the L-alert Symposium in Saitama with the Kanto Bureau of Telecommunications and the Foundation for Multimedia Communications on Monday, February 1, 2016. This year will mark the fifth anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake and the start of L-alert services. The Symposium will invite stakeholders working on the use and popularization of L-alert services on the front line from a variety of positions, reconfirm the importance of disaster information delivery, and include lectures and a panel discussion on challenges and expectations toward further level improvements in disaster information delivery.
