December 18, 2015 Development of Policy on Mitigation of Smartphone Charge Burdens and Optimization of Handheld Terminal Sales and Request to Mobile Phone Carriers

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has today established a policy on the mitigation of smartphone charge burdens and optimization of handheld terminal sales in response to a summary report from the Task Force on Mobile Phone Charges and Other Service Conditions. At the same time, MIC has requested measures to be taken from mobile phone carriers for smartphone charges and handheld terminal sales.
