January 14, 2016 Appeal for Proposals on Subsidies for Local Public Networks, etc. Toughening Projects (Projects on Telecommunications Network Development)

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) decided to make an appeal for proposals on subsidies for Local Public Networks, etc. Toughening Projects (projects on telecommunications network development) in accordance with specified public appeal guidelines. The subject projects include those to be covered by the fiscal 2015 supplementary budget and the fiscal 2016 initial budget. MIC, however, decided to make this appeal before the budgets bill pass the Diet so that this project can be started promptly after the budget bill is approved. Therefore, it should be kept in mind that the implementation of the projects is subject to change according to the passage of the budget bill.
