January 14, 2016 Appeal for Proposals on Subsidies for Projects to Support Radio System Dissemination (Projects to Support Solution of Bad Reception of Commercial Radio)

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has decided to make an appeal for proposals on subsidies for Projects to Support Radio System Dissemination (projects to support solution of bad reception of commercial radio) in accordance with specified public appeal guidelines. The subject projects for fiscal 2016 include those to be covered by the fiscal 2016 initial budget. MIC, however, decided to make this appeal before the fiscal 2016 budget bill passes the Diet so that this project can be started promptly after the budget bill is approved. Therefore, it should be kept in mind that the implementation of the projects is subject to change according to the passage of the budget bill.
