January 19, 2016 Holding Round-table Conference on Radio Policies 2020

It has been becoming increasingly important to make further effective use of radio waves as the nation’s recently finite and scarce common resource. With consideration of this, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) will hold an advisory body named the Round-table Conference on Radio Policies 2020. The Conference will study the development of Japan’s wireless infrastructure services into promising business with international competitiveness while considering measures to respond to new requirements of radio wave utilization, including those resulting from the development of IoT.
