January 22, 2016 Technical Requirements for Upgrading of 400 MHz Band Portable Radio Systems for Disaster Countermeasures

Partial Report from Information and Communications Council The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has today received a partial report from the Information and Communications Council (Chaired by Takeshi Uchiyamada, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Toyota Motor Corporation) in response to MIC’s Inquiry No. 2033 of May 17, 2013. This inquiry was about technical requirements for the upgrading of 400 MHz band portable radio systems for disaster countermeasures as a part of the upgrading of 6.5/7.5 GHz band portable systems within technical requirements for the upgrading of commercial and official land radiocommunications.
