November 25, 2016 Announcement of Top Hundred Telework Pioneers, Awards of Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications for Excellent Pioneers among Top Hundred Telework Pioneers, and Launching of Telework Promoting Enterprise Network

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has recognized enterprises and organizations advancing the introduction and utilization of teleworking as telework pioneers, and it has been selecting and announcing companies with sufficient achievements as the top hundred telework pioneers annually among them since fiscal 2015. In addition to the announcement of the top hundred telework pioneers, MIC established the Awards of the Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications this year to be given to excellent pioneers among the top hundred telework pioneers every year.
Recently, MIC has selected the top hundred telework pioneers for fiscal 2016 along with the recipients of the Awards of Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications.

Furthermore, MIC in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, will launch an initiative called the Telework Promotion Enterprise Network to expand the base of companies and organizations newly introducing telework. This initiative will encourage enterprises with track records on the introduction and utilization of telework to give consultation to other enterprises that intending to introduce teleworking.
