December 16, 2016 Results of Talks between Minister Sanae Takaichi for Internal Affairs and Communications and Minister Nikolai Nikiforov of Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation

Sanae Takaichi, Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC), talked today with H.E. Mr. Nikolai Nikiforov, Minister of Communications and Mass Media (MCMM), who is visiting Japan with H.E. Mr. Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, President of the Russian Federation. Both Ministers confirmed that the MCMM and MIC will continue to work to promote the cooperation and exchange of research institutes and enterprises in the ICT field and postal field. Furthermore, under the presence of the Prime Minister of Japan and the President of the Russian Federation, both Ministers signed a memorandum of understanding concerning the cooperation of the MCMM and MIC in the ICT and postal fields.
