December 26, 2016 Announcement of Wi-Fi Environment Development Plan Contributing to Disaster Prevention

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications hereby announces that it has completed a Wi-Fi environment development plan contributing to disaster prevention for the next three years, i.e., from fiscal 2017 through fiscal 2019. This plan is based on the government’s Japan Revitalization Strategy 2016 (a Cabinet decision on June 2, 2016) and Declaration of the Creation of the Most Advanced IT Nation in the World (a Cabinet decision on May 20, 2016) and has been finalized with consideration of the results of a survey on local public entities.
