February 17, 2016 Appeal for Opinions on Draft Guidelines for Consumer Protection Rules in Pay-broadcast Field

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) drafted a set of instructions entitled Guidelines for Consumer Protection Rules in the Pay-broadcast Field to be established in response to the enforcement of the Act on Partial Amendments to the Telecommunications Business Act (Act No. 26 of 2015), which includes the enhancement of consumer protection rules in the pay-broadcast field. The Guidelines explain consumer protection rules in the amendments to the Telecommunications Business Act with the aim of enabling consumers to use pay-broadcast services at ease. Accordingly, MIC decided to make an appeal for opinions on the drafted Guidelines from Thursday, February 18, through Friday, March 18, 2016.
