February 22, 2016 Appeal for Opinions on Partial Revision of Notice, etc. to Add Communication-related Matters for Broadcast-based Administrative Radio Systems for Disaster Use Incorporating Answerback Function, etc.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) drafted a Notice and pertinent instructions to add communication-related matters for the client devices of broadcast-based administrative radio systems on the 60 MHz band for disaster use incorporating functions in order to transmit signals to key stations for operation checks on the client devices as well as audio signals. In this connection, MIC made an appeal for opinions from Saturday, November 7, through Monday, December 7, 2016 for the Notice, etc., but no opinions were submitted.
