Institutional Development on Transfer of Documentation Jurisdiction and Authority over Small-scale Facility-specific Cable General Broadcasting from Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications to Prefectural Governors
The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) drafted a notice on partial revisions to provisions that specify documents to be created by electromagnetic means and methods to prepare and submit created documents in accordance with Paragraph 1, Article 217 of the Regulations for Enforcement of the Broadcast Act. This notice was drafted in response to the partial implementation of the Act on Institutional Development to Promote Reforms to Enhance Regional Autonomy and Independence. MIC made an appeal for opinions from Friday, January 8 through Monday, February 8, 2016 on the draft, and received one opinion as a result. In this connection, MIC decided to announce the opinion along with MIC’s comment to the opinion.
