March 4, 2016 Appeal for Proposals on Development Project on Disaster-prevention and Tourist Wi-Fi Stations and Environment Development Support Project on Public Wireless LANs

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has decided to make an appeal for proposals on two projects, namely, the Development Project on Disaster-prevention and Tourist Wi-Fi Stations and the Environment Development Support Project on Public Wireless LANs. The subject projects are to be covered by the fiscal 2016 initial budget. MIC, however, decided to make this appeal before the fiscal 2016 budget bill passes the Diet so that this project can be started promptly after the budget bill is approved. Therefore, it should be kept in mind that the implementation of the projects is subject to change according to the passage of the budget bill.
