Technical Requirements for Upgrading of LTE-Advanced Fourth-generation Systems and Advanced Broadband Wireless Access (BWA) Systems
The Subcommittee for Upgrading Mobile Phones, Department on Information and Communications Technology, Information and Communications Council (Chief Investigator: Junichi Takada, Professor, Department of International Development Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering, Tokyo Institute of Technology) has been studying the promotion of technical requirements for the upgrading of Long Term Evolution-Advanced (LTE-Advanced) fourth-generation systems and advanced broadband wireless access (BWA) systems.
Recently, the Subcommittee prepared a draft report, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has decided to make an appeal for opinions on the draft report from Saturday, March 26, through Monday, April 25, 2016.
