April 4, 2016 Announcement of Guidelines for the Safe and Secure Radio Wave Utilization in Medical Institutions

The Radio-wave Utilization Promotion Committee for Medical Institutions as an internal discussion group established by the Electromagnetic Compatibility Conference Japan has been studying the promotion of proper radio wave utilization in medical institutions, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications and the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare have been jointly contributing to the Committee’s actively.
The Committee has today released two documents, i.e., the Guidance on Safe and Secure Radio Wave Utilization in Medical Institutions and the 2015 Report of Radio-wave Utilization Promotion Committee for Medical Institutions, based on the study results of the Committee.
