April 19, 2016 Results of Appeal for Organizations to Verify Utilization and Application of Multilingual Speech Translation Systems

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) selected six implementing organizations for fiscal 2016 with consideration of the results of external evaluations as a result of an appeal for organizations verifying the utilization and application of multilingual speech translation systems.
In the hope of achieving an easy-to-use multilingual speech translation system for all people as a part of its global communications plan, MIC decided to verify the utilization and application of multilingual speech translation systems in local communities, and made an appeal from Thursday, January 21, through Friday, March 4, 2016, for organizations implementing the same.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) selected six implementing organizations with consideration of the results of external evaluations of the proposals.
