April 26, 2016 Appeal for Opinions on Draft Report of Satellite Communications System Subcommittee
Technical Requirements of Practical Quasi-Zenith Satellite System as a Part of Ideal Mobile Satellite Communications Systems and Relevant Services using 2 GHz or other Bands and Pertinent Technical Requirements
The Satellite Communications System Subcommittee (Chief Investigator: Makoto Ando, Professor at Tokyo Institute of Technology Graduate School of Science and Engineering) under the Department on Information and Communications Technology of the Information and Communications Council has been studying technical requirements of a practical quasi-zenith satellite system since June 2015. This theme is a part of ideal mobile satellite communications systems and relevant services using 2 GHz or other bands and pertinent technical requirements.
Recently, the Subcommittee drafted a report, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications has decided to make an appeal for opinions on the draft from Wednesday, April 27 through Tuesday, March 31, 2016.
