May 10, 2016 Implementation of L-alert Comprehensive National Training 2016

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications has decided to implement L-alert comprehensive national training 2016 on May 17 and May 18 with the participation of prefectural governments and the media. L-alert is a disaster information sharing system that transmits disaster-related information of local governments, including evacuation instructions, to a variety of media simultaneously and promptly, thus contributing to the smooth provision of information to local residents in times of disaster.
