June 10, 2016 Correction Order, etc. with regard to J’s Co. Ltd. in Violation of Act on Identification, etc. by Mobile Voice Communications Carriers of their Subscribers, etc. and for Prevention of Improper Use of Mobile Voice Communications Services

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) issued today a correction order based on the provisions of Paragraph 2, Article 15 of the Act on Identification, etc. by Mobile Voice Communications Carriers of their Subscribers, etc. (Act No. 31 of 2005) to J’s Co. Ltd. for its deeds in violation of the said Act. Furthermore, MIC has instructed KDDI Corporation, which has responsibility for supervising J’s Co. Ltd., as well as J.Communication Corporation, which has been re-commissioning the handling of subscriber contracts and other business to J’s Co. Ltd., to ensure their supervision over intermediary agencies.
