July 27, 2016 Approval for Change of Interconnection Agreements related to Category I Designated Telecommunications Facilities of NTT East and NTT West (Revision of Interconnection Charges related to Next Generation Network in FY2016)

he Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has received a report today from the Information and Communications and Posts Administrative Council in response to MIC’s inquiry (Inquiry No. 3085 of May 28, 2016). The report states that it is appropriate as inquired to change the interconnection agreements relating to the Category I designated telecommunications facilities of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone East Corporation and Nippon Telegraph and Telephone West Corporation (i.e., the revision of interconnection charges related to the next-generation network in fiscal 2016).
With consideration of the report, MIC has decided to approve the change.
