September 2, 2016 Results of the Visit of Jiro Akama, State Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications, to the Federative Republic of Brazil and the Republic of Peru

Jiro Akama, State Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications, visited the Federative Republic of Brazil and the Republic of Peru in Latin America from August 28 through to September 2, 2016.
In August 30, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan and the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation of Brazil held the DTT 10th Anniversary Ceremony, and State Minister Akama reached an agreement with the officials to expand the current cooperative relationship between Japan and Latin America in the field of digital terrestrial broadcasting to cover the entire ICT sector.
