September 20, 2016 Sixth Japan-EU Symposium on ICT Research and Innovation to be Held

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) and the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT) have decided to hold the Sixth Japan-EU Symposium on ICT Research and Innovation jointly with the European Commission (EC). The Japan-EU Symposium on ICT Research and Innovation aims to share the outcome of international research and development that MIC and NICT have been promoting in collaboration with EC as well as the direction of their future initiatives in the field of ICT. Furthermore, it also aims to accelerate industry-academia-government collaboration in the fields of the IoT and smart cities where a great ripple effect is expected.
