November 20, 2017 Holding Investigation Study Meeting on Data Portability

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry have decided to organize a study meeting to examine the ideal state of data portability. In the study meeting, the effect of data portability, the study progress of data portability in other countries, and the ideal state of data portability for major fields (e.g., the medical, financial, and power fields) of Japan.
