December 4, 2017 Results of the 12th Japan-ASEAN Information and Communications Ministerial Level Meeting

Japan and the 10 ASEAN member countries held the 12th Japan-ASEAN Information and Communications Ministerial Level Meeting in Siem Reap, Cambodia, on December 1, 2017. Masahiko Tominaga, Vice-Minister for Policy Coordination (International Affairs) of Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, represented Japan and attended the meeting, discussed the formulation of Work Plan 2018, a set of actions on cooperation and collaboration measures in the ICT field between Japan and ASEAN over the next year, as well as Japan-led projects to strengthen the cooperation of Japan and ASEAN in the cybersecurity field.
