March 10, 2017 Formulation and Announcement of International IoT Competitiveness Index

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) started making an international ICT competitiveness index annually in 2008 to strengthen the international competitiveness of Japan’s ICT industry and announced the index of each year until 2015.
While the IoT society where everything is connected to the Internet is arriving, MIC has made a review of all conventional index items and formulated a new international IoT competitiveness index. Accordingly, MIC has decided to announce the same.
