April 13, 2017 Survey Results on Ideal State of Information and Communications in Kumamoto Earthquake

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) entrusted to Mitsubishi Research Institute Co., Ltd. to conduct a questionnaire and interview survey on the information activities of Kumamoto earthquake victims and their use of ICT from the time of the disaster to around the end of May 2016, and compiled the results of the survey.
MIC will include the content of this survey in the 2017 White Paper on Information and Communications and make it basic data for a policy review on the ideal state of information and communications in times of disaster.
