May 19, 2017 Conclusion of MoU with Argentine Republic in ICT Field

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has been cooperating with Argentina in an expansion of terrestrial digital broadcasting by dispatching technical experts. Taking the opportunity of the visit of H.E. Mr. Mauricio Macri, President of Argentina, to Japan recently, Jiro Akama, State Minister of MIC, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with H.E. Ms. Susana Malcorra, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Argentine, under the presence of the heads of both countries. This MoU aims at reinforcing the cooperation between MIC and the Ministry of Communications of Argentina in terrestrial digital broadcasting and expanding the cooperation in the entire ICT field.
MIC will continue cooperating and collaborating in the ICT field in both countries.
