June 6, 2017 Correction Order, etc. with regard to Water One Co., Ltd. in Violation of Act on Identification, etc. by Mobile Voice Communications Carriers of their Subscribers, etc.

In accordance with the provisions of Paragraph 2, Article 15 of the Act on Identification, etc. by Mobile Voice Communications Carriers of their Subscribers, etc. (Act No. 31 of 2005), the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) issued today a correction order to Water One Co., Ltd. (Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture) for its deeds in violation of the said Act.
Furthermore, MIC has instructed NTT DoCoMo，Inc. (Tokyo’s Chiyoda Ward), which has responsibility for supervising Water One Co., Ltd., and Alpha International Co., Ltd. (Tokyo’s Shibuya Ward), which has been re-commissioning the handling of subscriber contracts and other business to Water One Co., Ltd., to ensure their supervision over intermediary agencies.
