June 30, 2017 Situation of R&D on Technologies for Preventing Disturbances Caused by Specified Electronic Mail in Usual Email Transmission and Telecommunications Carriers’ Introduction of Such Technologies into Their Email Services

Pursuant to Article 13 of the Act on Regulation of Transmission of Specified Electronic Mail (Act No. 26 of 2002), the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications has summarized a report on the situation of R&D on technologies to help prevent disturbances caused by specified electronic mail occurring in usual email transmission and telecommunications carriers’ introduction of such technologies into their e-mail services.
