July 10, 2017 Announcement of Guidance on Cyberattack (Target-type Attack) Defense Model

As continuous countermeasures against new cyberattacks, such as target-type attacks that are becoming sophisticated and complex, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has been studying a defense model as countermeasures against cyberattacks (target-type attacks) since fiscal 2013 from a personnel and technical viewpoint of government agencies and private companies. This study is a part of the project of demonstration experiments of protection and practical exercises against cyberattacks.
As a result of this effort, MIC has formulated guidance on cyberattack (target-type attack) defense model and decided to open the same to the public.
