July 28, 2017 Release of the Report 2017 of the Conference toward AI Network Society (including the Draft AI R&D Guidelines that explains the AI R&D Principles)

The Institute for Information and Communications Policy (IICP), the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC), has held the “Conference toward AI Network Society,” a conference consisting of advisory experts to study social, economic, ethical, and legal issues toward promoting AI networking in the society.
Today, the Conference released the Report 2017. This report includes the “Draft AI R&D Guidelines for International Discussions,” which explains the AI R&D Principles, nine principles for research and development of artificial intelligence (AI). (For details, refer to the link.)
