August 7, 2017 Release of Summarized Review of Study Group Focusing on Realization of Connected Car Society

Toward the realization of a safe and secure connected car society, where cars and networks will be connected together to create new value and business, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) establish a study group focusing on the realization of a connected car society (chaired by Shiro Tanigawa, Guest Professor at Tokyo University of the Arts) on December 2016. Since then, the study group has been seeking for a new social image brought by connected cars utilizing wireless communications networks and research measures to promote the realization of the connected car society.
Recently, a review of the study group has been summarized, and MIC has decided to open it to the public.
