January 31, 2018 Towards Dissemination of High-speed Communications at Sea (Interim Report)

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, the Ministry of Land、Infrastructure and Transport, and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries established the Liaison Council for Ocean Development-related Ministries and Agencies in February 2017 to summarize issues in pursuit of an environment in which seamen and passengers can use smartphones in the same way as on land to eliminate the digital divide at sea.
Recently, the Liaison Council for Ocean Development-related Ministries and Agencies has compiled an interim report on its future efforts.
