October 2, 2018 Notice on Necessity for Updating DNS Cache Server Configuration due to Global Internet DNS Key Change
The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), a nonprofit organization responsible for worldwide management and adjustment work on the important resources of the Internet, has decided to renew the Root Zone KSK, the highest key among all encryption keys used to verify the validity of digital signatures in the Domain Name System (DNS) at 1 AM (Japan Standard Time) of October 12, 2018.
In this connection, proper prearrangements may be necessary for those operating cache DNS servers.
