October 26, 2018 Additional Information Disclosure Guidelines on the Safety and Reliability of Cloud Services

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) provides Information Disclosure Guidelines consisting of five items on the Safety and Reliability of Cloud Services, thus showing information items to be disclosed in order to improve the safety and reliability of cloud services, contributing to users’ comparison, evaluation, selection, etc. of cloud services. With consideration of an increase in the number of IoT services by cloud providers, MIC has recently revised the Information Disclosure Guidelines on the Safety and Reliability of Cloud Services (second edition) in a form that newly incorporates a policy for countermeasures against risks when cloud operators intend to enter the field of IoT service. Accordingly, MIC has decided to open the same to the public.
