October 31, 2018 Results of Talks between Masatoshi Ishida, Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications, and H.E. Mr. Peter Altmaier, Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy of Germany

Masatoshi Ishida, Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications, held talks today with H.E. Mr. Peter Altmaier, Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy of Germany, who is visiting Japan now, exchanged opinions on the direction of collaboration between Japan and Germany as the digital economy progresses, and confirmed that both countries will further strengthen their cooperation.
After the talks, Minister Ishida signed a joint statement of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC), the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), and the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy of Germany.
