November 7, 2018 Result of Appeal for Proposals for Comprehensive Verification of Competition Rules in the Telecommunications Business Field

The Special Subcommittee on the Comprehensive Verification of Competition Rules in the Telecommunications Business Field (chaired by Hirotaka Yamauchi, Professor at Graduate School of Commerce and Management, Hitotsubashi University) under the Telecommunications Business Policy Committee of the Information and Communications Council made an appeal for proposals from Friday, October 5 through Thursday, October 25, 2018. This appeal aimed to collect proposals for visions concerning communication networks in anticipation of around 2030 for a reference of future discussions. As a result, 13 opinions were submitted, and the opinions were presented at the second meeting of the Special Subcommittee on November 7.
