December 7, 2018 Results of the 13th Japan-ASEAN Information and Communications Ministerial Level Meeting

Japan and the 10 ASEAN member countries held the 13th Japan-ASEAN Information and Communications Ministerial Level Meeting in Denpasar, Indonesia, on December 1, 2017. Katsuya Watanabe, Vice-Minister for Policy Coordination (International Affairs) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, represented Japan and attended the meeting, discussed the formulation of Japan-ASEAN ICT Work Plan 2019, a set of actions on cooperation and collaboration measures in the ICT field, including disaster prevention, smart city, and cybersecurity plans, between Japan and ASEAN over the next year.
