December 19, 2018 Results of Second Meeting of Japan-Viet Nam Joint Working Group

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) and the Ministry of Information and Communications of Viet Nam held the second meeting of a Japan-Viet Nam joint working group in Tokyo on December 17, 2018. The participants of the meeting from the Japanese side included Akihiko Miyamoto, Director-General for International Affairs, Global Strategy Bureau, MIC, and those from Viet Nam were headed by Mr. Nguyen Trung Khanh, Director General of the International Cooperation Department.
The working group discussed the further cooperation of Japan and Viet Nam in the fields of cybersecurity, radio wave surveillance, and smart cities, and 5G for the future.
