Partial Report from Information and Communications Council
The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has today received a report from the Information and Communications Council (Chaired by Takeshi Uchiyamada, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Toyota Motor Corporation) on technical requirements for 150 MHz band digital data communications equipment and 400 MHz band digital onboard communications equipment as a part of technical requirements for digital maritime radiocommunications equipment in partial response to MIC’s inquiry number 50 about technical requirements for maritime radiocommunications equipment.
