February 16, 2018 Announcement of Winners of ICT Regional Revitalization Awards 2017 and Holding of Regional ICT Summit 2017 Symposium

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) makes an appeal for a wide range of initiatives utilizing information and communications technology (ICT) based on the autonomous creativity and ingenuity of each region to solve diversified regional problems and gives ICT Regional Revitalization Awards for excellent initiatives.
In this connection, MIC made an appeal from for excellent ICT utilization cases from October 25 through November 30, 2017, and received 102 applications. MIC reviewed them and selected award winners.
In addition, MIC has decided to hold a symposium including an award ceremony.
